Your activation code is sent to the e-mail address you entered when you registered. If you change that e-mail address, you must re-activate using the new activation code. This prevents people from making up bogus e-mail addresses, which was prevalent in the old system. Only Forum staff may see your e-mail address if you choose to hide it.
NOTE ON ACTIVATION E-MAIL:
Some Internet e-mail providers classify the activation e-mail as spam, and may move it to a junk folder. Please check your junk mail/bulk mail settings to be sure you can receive the activation e-mail. You will not be able to post until you activate, and successully activating is your responsibility.
Fewer than 25 users have not activated, so the problem is not widespread, you just need to check your personal e-mail settings for the account you are using.
