smart a-s-s...LOL...your dad teach you how to pull a gear cluster off a bicycle (road or mtbike) & change the cluster for different gearing?
You are my hero, I didn't realize it was rocket science.
Since you have a ton of info, your Dad teach you how you could cause a traffic accident from illegally bassackwards parking? Did he also teach how prevalent this is? Deaths caused each year from this sort of accident of illegal parking & taking off?
I've had this happen on more than one occasion as Attica is not the only town with this law breaking problem. Lafayette has their share of criminals when parking bassackwards. Ummm, I've never noticed the difference, nor ever been "blinded". Maybe the cars that flipped headlights on just as I approached them on the wrong side (since they are parked incorrectly) didn't have their headlights installed correctly.

What button did I push"??? LOL
What because some one gets on here and asks some one "to make" people start parking correctly? Someone on the forum supposed to beat them up? Call the cops? (they themselves should have done that since they already know it's illegal.
What's it to you anyway?
And I do not apologize for my remark towards you. You're a Dr correct? Read your PM as to the health of my father.
"No, but when you start up a car at night, turn on the headlights, and prepare to drive away, the lights can be blinding to oncoming traffic."
So, if you pass a car on it's left vs passing on it's right (as in normal traffic) it's blinding all of a sudden? Jaywalking is against the law too but I could care less about it & there's probably more incidents from jaywalking than someone parking backwards on the road, flipping on their headlights, taking off causing an accident.
In America, headlights on low beam are focused down to the road and slightly to the right side of a car as you sit in it. The lights are shining focused lower and to the right on low beam so that the road edge is more visible. When you flick your lights to high beam, they are focused slightly higher but still slightly to the right. That means that, if you park your car the wrong direction, the lights, when turned on, are focused directly into the eyes of the drivers of oncoming traffic.
When cars are in normal (US) positions on the road, the lights do not focus toward oncoming traffic, but away toward the edge of the road more, hence they do not blind oncoming drivers.
Sorry your Dad didn't teach you this...I can still remember going into the barn to put a new headlight on my car, and having to work with the light once installed to get it so that the light aimed correctly. The barn closed up with the door shut allowed us to see and align the light correctly. Today, many autos just replace a bulb.
And, where it also becomes an issue is when people drive up on the wrong side of the road to get their mail from the driver side window, and blind oncoming traffic as well.
Better luck at being rude to people with your next post. You lose this one. Even when facts are posted, you react like a jerk. Great example!
"Could somebody please start making the people on Perry park their cars facing the proper way?"
I apologize! I just thought this thread started off funny as in who on this board is expected "to make the people park cars the correct way"?

I guess the question would have to be: "Who would listen to Rob Night?" Here is an individual who for years has entertained basically the WallMart crowd and Cotton Eye Joe singers in the Hoosier State, and now waxes self-improvement philosophy? It was like watching Okra when she was laughing with Mike Tieson about wacking Robin Gibons about the head and then crying with her on stage in a later episode about women being abused. What is next? How about Kathy Lee and Frank helping Tiger work out his marraige. LOL...This is about money and speaking engagements. Merry Christmas.

Bob Knight vs John Calapari Celebtrity Deathmatch! « Result #10 on Dec 18, 2009, 10:12pm »
The war is on!!! Will UK be the 3rd school to lose its final four appearance after getting there this year, then get sanctioned, only to see Calapari transfer to Texas!!!!
Can anyone figure out if Calapari's claim is that college bb has not lost its integrity or he himself has not lost integrity? If he means himself, he's full of a big bag of hot air on this one.
